Personality: Lily is insanely tall and lean for a thoroughbred. She is considered a giant, but acts nothing like one. She is so sweet and is such a gentle filly. So far, her easy going personality has been fantastic whilst training her, making her easy to work with, and she has been quick to take to the saddle, rider and starting gates. She can get nervous a little quickly, but she's such a veteran at the track already that it isn't much of an issue.

Pedigree Comments: Barely Legal's sire, Barely A Moment, is a retired grade one racehorse. As a three-year-old, Barely A Moment won the Garnet Stakes, the Dubai Colt Cup, the Grade Two Seaspray Cup, and the Breeders' Cup Mile. That alone would be a solid enough run, but this stallion went on to win the Unicorn Horn Mile, the Bank On Silver Memorial Stakes, the True Enough Memorial Stakes, and the Dubai World Cup at four. He took home the awards of Y5 Colt of the Year and Y6 Best Older Horse. He has one other child of racing age, the grade two three-year-old Sizzling Dawn. Sizzling Dawn has had a good year, taking home the Preakness Stakes and the Consumato Derby.
Testimonial Circumstances is a grade two mare without any wins of note, though she did come in third in the Bank On Silver Memorial. Barely Legal is her only foal.

Racing Style: Lily isn't incredibly aggressive, so when she breaks she easily settles at the back of the back, second-to-last or even last in the field. This filly has a lot of stamina, so she's not in any hurry in the early part of the race. She starts picking off horses on the turn, generally about four lengths back from the leader once they reach the stretch. She really digs in from there, finding her drive to try and come out on top.
