Personality: Out of all of the first Positively Precious yearlings, this filly has the most sane mindset and quite frankly that's still not too good. Aphrodite's Chant is a little princess and is quite a vindictive minx when pushed to her limit. She is jealous of all females, even humans. She never rests on her laurels and always attempts to nip or kick whenever either horse or human are around. She has a gentle eye up until that point and is quite nice to work with in the stall and cross ties. Chance is a little dervish out on the lead line or whenever she happens to be moving with a human attached in some way, shape or form. She never sits still and is always prancing or strutting about. She'll toss her head and mouth the bit eager to please and kick some butt. Chance loves the post parade for the attention and goes absolutely ballistic if an outrider is not beside her in the post parade. She loves the crowd, but the outrider's horse is a type of security blanket for the neurotic filly. She is quite nervy, constantly shakes and skitters about and it covers up her true gentle self. She squeals, neighs and whinnies and works the other horses in a race up into a frenzy. For some reason it does not quite damage Chance's overall racing performance. The rose grey filly has been known to get quite washed out during the post parade, but she runs to her 100% effort every single race she steps foot in.
As a young horse, Chance has just arrived at Valkyrie. She's feeling a little strange in her new environment, seeming to want other foals to pick on - however, she's doing well interacting with the humans. Well in that she interacts with them at all, even if it's sometimes in a negative way. She's grown especially attached to Tigrs, and because of that gets jealous when the girls are around him.

Pedigree Comments: Chance will be the first foal for both of her parents on the track and will help set the standard for their future offspring. Positively Precious was a first year sire for Witch Creek Stable at the time that Aphrodite was planned. He stood at Stride of Perfection Stables up until Year Twelve when he was passed on to become the dirt sire. He has sired three Year Thirteen foals for Witch Creek Stable: Ares, Artemis' Glory and Aphrodite's Chant. He won five races including the Autumn Cup Grade Five Dirt, the Hair Strengthener Cup Grade Four Dirt and finished third in races such as the: Over the Rainbow Stakes, the Kickstart Cup, the Comet Cup, and the Focus Stakes. He was retired due to a large number of horses in the Year Eight crop for Stride of Perfection Stables and his true talent will be revealed in his offspring. Enchantress was going to be the filly that took Witch Creek to the top rung of the older horse division once they fixed her up again. However, Ripley never got a chance to get the filly back on track before a future tendon injury was discovered via x-ray. It was decided that the gray would stay on as a broodmare because of her lovely personality and incredible demeanor. Enchantress made eight starts over her two and three year old season and broke her maiden in the Seaspray Cup. The gray showed incredible promise before her retirement and it is almost certain that something will pass down to her foals.

Racing Style: She gates kindly and plays with the gate workers while standing in the gate. Sometimes it distracts her too much, but if she breaks a step slowly it is no matter. She is a true mid-pack runner and she is quite relaxed while in motion. She has a sweet gallop stride and she is always focused on the race at hand. She does not torment the other runners like Artemis. Her damage to the field is already done by her noisy parading before the race began. Chance is an agile filly and is quite ready for any road block that develops during the running of the race. She usually starts picking up the pace halfway up the backstretch. She is not dominating like Ares or Artemis' Glory. She is a gutsy grinder who always puts her heart on display during the running of the race. Her fan base can appreciate her every time because she never fails to show up.
